The George Mason University, Department of Modern and Classical Languages, is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person for a Term Assistant Professor of Korean

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate should demonstrate readiness to teaching all levels of college language courses in Korean and evidence of active coordinating skills in a Korean program.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants should have native or near-native competency in Korean and English and hold a Ph.D. in linguistics with a focus on Korean as well as teaching experience and expertise in second language acquisition and heritage language education.

Preferred Qualifications:

Commitment to contribute to the development of Korean studies in the department, a plus.
