Part-Time Lecturer Position in Korean Language

The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at Georgetown University invites applications for one one-year part-time Lecturer position in Korean language, starting August 2017.  This position is renewable and non-tenure-track. The candidate will be expected to teach one section of intensive basic/intermediate level of Korean (6 credits a semester), conduct tests and examinations as required, lead Korean language tables, and function well as a team player within the Korean program.  


Candidates must have a graduate degree in Korean language pedagogy/applied linguistics or closely related field, and native or near native proficiency in Korean and English.  Experience teaching college-level Korean in North America is required.
