The School of Modern Languages, Georgia Institute of Technology, invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position in Korean language instruction, beginning August 16, 2010. Applicants should hold at least an MA degree, specialize in Korean language acquisition or a closely related area, and possess native or near-native proficiency in Korean in addition to college teaching experience. Duties include teaching Korean language and culture courses at all levels, and continuing the momentum in building the Korean program. Familiarity with interactive communicative approaches to teaching and language course development is desirable, as is the ability to manage and teach the summer faculty-led intensive Korean Language for Business and Technology (LBAT) in Seoul (see http://www.modlangs.gatech.edu/lbat-program/korea/).
