Korean Language Instructor
The College of East Asian Studies at Wesleyan University invites applications for an appointment as a Visiting Instructor of Korean Language beginning Fall 2018. The visitor will teach: Intermediate Korean 1 (Fall 2018), Intermediate Korean 2 (Spring 2019), and an Advanced (3rd year) Korean language course (Fall 2018).
Applicants must have an M.A. or Ph.D. degree in Korean language/linguistics, language pedagogy, second language acquisition, applied linguistics, education, or other related fields in hand at the time of appointment, and must have native or near-native proficiency in Korean and English. Teaching experiences at all levels with both heritage and non-heritage learners of Korean at the college level in the US, and experiences in instructional technology are highly desirable. Salary is competitive.
