The University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks a full-time non-tenure track instructor of Korean language, starting August 2009.

The initial appointment is for three years, and is renewable.

Applicants should possess aMaster's degree in applied linguistics, language education, linguistics, second language acquisition, or a related field; ability to teach all levels of the language; native or near-native fluency in Korean, and competency in spoken and written English.

One year of experience teaching Korean to English-speakers at the college level required. Experience may have been gained on a part-time basis as a graduate student.

Qualifications will determine whether we hire at the Assistant or Associate level. Must be willing to plan and participate in various activities to enhance this growing Korean program.
