Announcement of Assistant Professorship in Korean Literature and/or Visual Culture Academic Year 2011-2012

 

The Department of East Asian Languages and Literature at the University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position beginning August 29, 2011 at the rank of Assistant Professor in Korean Literature and/or Visual Culture.

 

Applicants must have a Ph.D. (or anticipate its completion by the time of appointment) in Korean Studies and be able to teach graduate as well as undergraduate courses in Korean Literature (period open) and/or Visual Culture (broadly defined). The candidate should also have native or near-native fluency in Korean and English. Experience teaching at the college level is preferred.
